Performance of the equity markets and the Acea stock

In 2022, global equity markets saw a negative trend, in particular affected by the increase in energy prices, in part due to the war in Ukraine and the increase in raw material prices, which led to increased inflation and a weakening in the growth of global GDP.

The Italian stock market recorded negative numbers but recovered significantly in the fourth quarter. In fact, at the end of September the result was a loss of almost 25%, which was significantly less by the end of December (FTSE MIB -13.3%).
